A great band formed in 2003 by a bunch of guys who not only are accomplished musicians in own right, but they just happened to be good friends as well. What a dynamic combination. This band just had to happen.

The music is predominantly 50s, 60s, 70s and modern Country Rock including rock 'n' roll music.

Lead Singer – Taylor Gibson  

Nickname Little Miss Dynamite,  Turned Pro at age 22 ,With self titled album. Hello....Can You Hear Me Dec  2003. Star search finalist in 98, Performed at Gympie music muster 04, Toured with the Silly Billie’s in 02, Performed at the Tivoli, Winter sun Festival, Australia's One and Only Kate Bush Impersonator, Performed in musical theatre shows, and has worked with legends in the music industry such as Carl Lynch and Doc Span. A Powerful voice that will shake ya boots.

Lead Guitar –  Sound Engineer -  Danny Anderson

Nickname The Big D Man, Has 20 years experience in creating a electrifying blues tone, just close ya eyes and you just may hear a little Hendrix. Played with Phil Manning, Chris Hall icon from the 60's many other Australian musicians. Danny has also performed at Malaney Folk Festival, Byron Bay Blues Festival. He has also performed as a studio musician from time to time. Danny also is a Master of sound recording and mixing and continues to please the Fans wherever He performs.

Rhythm Guitar  - Mike Greer.

Nickname Magic Fingers, with 38 years experience has also played with Max Merritt, Dinah Lee and Ray Columbus All from Mikes Home Town Of Christchurch N.Z They are some of the Rock Legends he has Performed with over the years. 

 Bass Guitar – Vocals   Murray Hammond.

Nickname Muddy,  Roots in 60's Rock 'n' Roll for many years in Rhodesia (Now Zimbabwe) Played Pro in Durban, South Africa. Had a brief 35 year holiday before booming back into bass with a whole new approach, and bloody lovin it.!!!Has played Pro in South Africa with many blues and jazz musicians.

Drums and Percussion-Glen Farrugia  

Nickname Animal, Glen is the newest member of Hi-Way1. Glen is a Melbourne lad and has had a successful career playing drums all around Australia. Bands include Stop, Powerhouse, The College Rivals, The R’N’R band, Fullhouse, The Windsor Daniels band, The Splitters, Little Big Boots, Funken Blues and 38^th Street. Glens drumming ability and dedication is an asset to any band and his experience brings excitement to HI-WAY 1. His versatility will give the band a wider range of music influences.
