Consists of 4 Experienced Musicians and Although Capable Of Playing Covers and
Commercial Rock, The Band Specializes in The Nostalgic Sound Of The 50's 60's and 70's.
They Also Have a Floor Show Featuring The Fabulous Joan Brennan.

Wally Watkins - Vocals, Lead Guitar

Wally Has Played In Many Bands Starting in 1964. At The Age of 15 Years Old He And Friends Formed Their First Band Called The Hi-Times, Then Went On To Play As The Intruders And Squires They Played And Supported Some Of Melbourne’s Main Bands In 1975, He Moved To The Gold Coast Where He Formed The Band 10th Avenue. He Had a Resident Gig At The Palm Beach Hotel From 1975 to 1978. Then He Went To Brisbane In 1979, Where He Formed Original Band, Gerrymander And The Boundaries In 1979. He Wrote and Sang All His Own Songs until 1982. Then He Moved To The Gold Coast. After Forming Local Band The Fire Birds That Lasted For 2 Years He Met Peter Wells Of Rose Tatto And Lucy Desoto. Also At That Time American Singer Song Writer Cletis Carr Moved To The Gold Coast From Los Angeles, Playing With The Late Great PETER WELLS Of Rose Tattoo, and The CLETIS CAR Band From Los Angeles. He Then In 1996 Formed Wally And The Gators. After 2 Years of Playing Around The Local Scene He Put The Band On Hold. Then He Played With J.O.K'S Drummer John (Catfish) Purser And The Deejays For A Short While. He Was Then Offered A Position As Lead Guitarist / Singer With The Dance On Band Where He Stayed for 3 Years, He Left And Reformed Wally And The Gators In 2004 And Has Been A Regular Wintersun Performer. The Wintersun Festival Is Held On The Gold Coast Every June And Attracts Australian And Overseas Artists From The 50's To Today It Is For All Family And Music Lovers Of All Ages.

Andrew Has Played And Recorded & Travelled With Several Outfits For Over 20 years, He Was The Founding Member Of The Get Back Band One Of Adelaide’s, Top Rock n Roll Bands. He Has A Solid Beat And A Driving Force Behind The Band: Wally & The Gator’s.

Dennis McCabe - Bass, Vocals

Dennis Started Playing At The Age Of 15 yrs Old And Is A Very Accomplished Musician. Playing Bass Is His First Love But He Also Plays Guitar, Mandolin, Pedal Steel. Dennis Has Played In Many Bands Playing A Variety Of Styles He Has Backed Floorshow Artists And Various Entertainers, Dennis Ads A Solid Bass Sound To Wally And The Gator's.

Dennis Edwards – Keyboards, Vocals

Since The 1970s Dennis Has Been Part of the Recording Industry and Has Arranged and Produced Many Tracks For “J & B” Records ... In 1976 He Was Presented With A Gold Record For Sales Of A Ragtime Party Album. He Has Also Arranged and Co-Produced Many Songs at the ABC Studios in Adelaide Including “A Little Sunshine”...On The 1978 “Australian Rock Album” Performed By His Band Helta Skelta. Dennis Is Constantly Striving For Musical Professionalism And Puts A Unique Flair Into Every Keyboard And Vocal Performance Now With The Band: Wally and the Gators
